After a great fotoshoot last friday (sneak preview under this post) and a tasty lunch with our new sponsor DL Logistics, we packed the old boat in Holland. Ready to go to Miami. Over the weekend we washed all our clothes, said goodbye to family and friends and enjoyed the last bits of the warm Dutch weather. Monday morning we went to Schiphol together with our bags and a big tube full with 470 and Finn sails. Normally it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s not so easy to bring them, extra costs etc, but this time we had no problems at all. Good start!
Malaysia Airlines did a good job flying us comfortably to Perth. We arrived in 16 degrees and heavy rain. Hmmm we only brought shorts... Well today it was a lot better already, shorts, tongs and a t-shirt were enough. We had a easy day unloading the container, rigging the boat en launching the coach boat. All went well and we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re ready to hit the water tomorrow!
